Technical term – assistance
Sometimes, excavations will be carried out in a UXO-suspect area without a previous surface detection, e.g. when the top soil is contaminated with metals (like furnace slack), or during an archaeological sample trenching survey (since the trenches will be completely excavated anyhow). In such cases, our experts will assist the excavation works from up close to guarantee safe proceedings. Usually, layer by layer will be detected and then removed.
